The postal items are delivered at home or ‘poste restante’.

A delivery ’poste restante’ is done at a charge, except for braille and assimilated postal items.

As regards the delivery at home the universal service provider is obliged to service all houses provided they are equipped with a regulatory letterbox within reach installed at the border of the public road.

Universal service parcels that are not delivered to the addressee are kept at a location in the addressee’s municipality which is open to the public for at least five days per week, except on Sundays and legal holidays. The addressee is informed of this in a message left in his letterbox. Another place may also be defined by the universal service provider with the consent of the recipient.

Registered items are kept for 15 days, the day of presentation not included.
