BIPT has decided to no longer regulate the retail access to national fixed telephony services via CS and CPS, due to a sharp decrease in their significance. A similar decision has been taken for the wholesale fixed call origination market, which is currently characterised by an increased competition. These decisions remove the existing obligations imposed on Proximus on these markets.

Given the measures taken at the national level against the spread of the coronavirus, the deadline for applications is extended to Friday 15 May 2020, at 10 a.m.
