Brussels, 2 May 2018 – On 27 April 2018, the CRC, the Conference of regulators in the electronic communications sector, which brings together the CSA, BIPT, the Medienrat and the VRM, adopted the draft decisions regarding the analysis of the broadband Internet and television broadcasting markets. These market analyses have been notified to the European Commission, which has 30 days to take a position on these drafts.

As part of its monitoring task regarding the management contract concluded between the State and bpost, BIPT has contracted out an audit of the bpost customer satisfaction survey. The results of that audit are presented in this communication.

According to the information it has, BIPT notices that measurements were conducted by bpost in order to determine the level of its customers' satisfaction in 2016 and issues a favourable opinion on the realisation of the 2016 improvement plan and improvement measures considered for 2017.

In 2019 the 700 MHz band will probably be put up for auction. At this moment BIPT assumes that this band will no longer be available for the use by wireless microphones as of the end of 2019. BIPT wishes to anticipate the future clearance of the 700 MHz band today. This communication which is addressed to all PMSE users contains information regarding the situation after 1 January 2020
