In this communication on the monitoring of bpost’s quality of service, carried out by BIPT, account is given of the verifications carried out by BIPT regarding the universal service provider, bpost, for the year 2011. Since the full liberalisation of the postal market, BIPT was additionally entrusted by the legislator to perform specific checks of the postal service providers and the postal licence holders and to report on this. This contributes to the postal market’s transparency.
