The BIPT is launching this public consultation to develop a comprehensive and up-to-date picture of the use and availability of parcel lockers in Belgium.
To assess how an efficient and accessible parcel-locker ecosystem can be further promoted, the BIPT seeks input from all relevant stakeholders, such as providers, operators using the lockers, local authorities, businesses and consumers, regarding how the network functions today: where are the lockers located, where the needs lie, which factors influence their use, and which obstacles are experienced by users and providers.
In addition, this consultation aims to identify possible regulatory points of attention and opportunities for improvement.
Stakeholders are invited to report any difficulties encountered when offering, expanding or using parcel lockers, as well as to propose suggestions for future regulation or market initiatives.
