The annual postal observatory, based on aggregated data provided by operators, published by the BIPT, reveals that the double-digit growth in turnover recorded by the postal sector in recent years has come to an end.
Within the parcel segment, which accounts for two thirds of postal revenues, the number of parcels sent has decreased for the first time since the start of the time series in 2010.
For the first time, the volume of letter post fell below 100 per capita on an annual basis.
