On 1 December 2021, the Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications received a complaint from Mrs [X], domiciled in [Y].

The complaint is based on Article 99, § 2, of the Act of 21 March 1991 on the reform of certain economic public companies (hereinafter ‘Act of 1991’).

After having detected a malfunction Telenet intends to install a cable across the property of Mrs [X], which she objects to.

After having examined the complaint the BIPT concludes that Telenet has acted correctly in the sense of the Act of 1991 and is allowed to start the work proposed.
