Communication by the BIPT Council of 4 April 2018 regarding the frequency bands for wireless microphones and other PMSE equipment for use as of 1 January 2020

In 2019 the 700 MHz band will probably be put up for auction. At this moment BIPT assumes that this band will no longer be available for the use by wireless microphones as of the end of 2019. BIPT wishes to anticipate the future clearance of the 700 MHz band today. This communication which is addressed to all PMSE users contains information regarding the situation after 1 January 2020
