The new BIPT Council took office on 2 January 2024 following the publication of the Appointment Decrees of its members in the Belgian Official Gazette.
The management functions of the departments until 1 January 2027 are distributed as follows:
- Michel Van Bellinghen: Registry, Communications Department, Budget and Finance Department, Translation Department, International Relations Department;
- Bernardo Herman: IT Department, Monitoring Department, Consumers Department (including aspects relating to the implementation of the Digital Services Act), Postal Market Department;
- Peggy Valcke: Legal Department, Staff Management Department, NetSec Department;
- Stefaan Vyverman: Purchase and Logistics Department, Telecom Market & Media Department, Assignments Department.
