Average Belgian telecom prices compared to neighbouring countries Fiche
Publications › Press release -
20/02/2013
At the request of Vice Prime Minister Johan Vande Lanotte, BIPT carried out a comparative study of the prices for telecom products in Belgium and our neighbouring countries. That study shows average results for Belgium. Telecom bundles often provide high Internet quality but are pricy. The prices for mobile telephony decreased considerably late 2012, resulting in a better current ranking for Belgium in this field. Stand-alone offers for fixed telephony and Internet are rather cheap or average in price. Both however are losing ground on the Belgian market because of the growing success of the bundles.
