Together with the consultants WIK-Consult, M.A.S. and London Economics the BIPT has carried out thorough research into the current elasticity coefficients of postal products within the Belgian context.

The number of perspectives was maximised so that insights were broadened and could be compared with one another.

Indeed, every method has its advantages, limitations and disadvantages.

As such apart from the enquiry the BIPT wanted to carry out a literature study, have an interview with postal operators and make an econometric analysis.
