This document contains the annex to the proposal for a Royal Decree by the BIPT implementing Article 28/1 of the Law of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications, establishing the technical specifications for fibre-ready new buildings and major renovations, as provided for in the Gigabit Infrastructure Act.
The document describes the specifications for the fiber-ready in-house infrastructure, the building access point, the internal fiber cabling, and the entry infrastructure, as well as the practical steps and documentation requirements.
Please note that these are the technical specifications as proposed by the BIPT and that this is not yet a legally binding document: the document may therefore be subject to amendments until its final publication in the Belgian Official Gazette.
