Once again, a study commissioned by the BIPT shows that sustainability is a major theme for the Belgian telecom operators.
During the 2018-2022 period their energy consumption dropped by 9% and the CO2 emissions by 19%.
Operators continue to make efforts to further reduce consumption and CO2 emissions.
Among other things, operators are also working on reusing and recycling set-top boxes and modems to reduce the amount of waste.
