This opinion addresses the bill (Doc 55, 0900/001) amending the Act of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications, with a view to tackling bill shock situations following the use of certain telecommunications services and the amendment thereto (Doc 55, 0900/002).

This opinion is delivered by the BIPT at the request of the Committee for Economy of the Chamber of Representatives, pursuant to Article 14, §1, 1°, of the Act of 17 January 2003.
