In this decision, the Council of the BIPT imposes a fine of EUR 10 000 on Colt Technology Services N.V. for failing to respond to a request for information in a timely manner.
On 27 August 2025, the BIPT requested Colt to provide certain information by 19 September 2025 as part of a verification concerning the compliance with the Royal Decree of 12 May 2024 to combat international voice calls with spoofed Belgian telephone numbers.
The BIPT finally received the requested information on 19 December 2025, albeit three months after the deadline for a response had expired.
