700 MHz band (2021)

  • Decision of 16 November 2021 on the granting of spectrum at 700 MHz and 800 MHz for the establishment and operation of a transmission installation in the Belgian exclusive economic zone in the North Sea
  • Consultation of 9 September 2021 on the draft decision on the assignment of spectrum in the 700 MHz 800 MHz bands for the establishment and operation of a transmission installation in the Belgian exclusive economic zone in the North Sea
  • Communication of 30 June 2021 on the granting of temporary user rights in the 700 MHz band for the establishment and operation of a transmission installation in the Belgian exclusive economic zone in the North Sea

3600-3800 MHz band (2020)

The assignment procedure concerns the granting of temporary rights of use in the 3600-3800 MHz frequency band that are valid until the start of the validity period of the rights of use which will be granted following the auction, for an initial commercial deployment.

2.6 GHz band (2020)

The 2.6 GHz band (2020) assignment procedure concerns the granting of rights of use for 15 MHz duplex in the 2.6 GHz band for a term of 15 years.

Rights of use may be extended by BIPT for supplementary five-year periods.

3.5 GHz band (2015)

Procedure 900 & 1800 MHz bands (2014)

The procedure involves the allocation of 4.8 MHz of duplex in the 900 MHz band and of 15 MHz of duplex in the 1800 MHz band from 27 November 2015.

800 MHz band (2013)

800 MHz band allocation procedure (digital dividend).

Fourth 3G-licence (2011)

Award procedure of the fourth 3G-licence (ended in 2011).

2.6 GHz band (2011)

Award procedure of the 2.6 GHz band (ended in 2011).

3.5 GHz band (2010)

Award procedure of the 3.5 GHz band (ended in 2010).
