Since 4 August 2012 only the operators (providing fixed telephony or fixed Internet) with a turnover of more than 50 million euro, are obliged to offer the social tariff for all their tariff plans.
Operators with a turnover smaller than that amount may, after having made a declaration to BIPT, also offer the social tariff if they wish to do so.
