The postal services and the telecommunications markets no longer function in a world of their own. Relations with the international community become increasingly important.
Numerous international and regional bodies set out to enhance harmonisation and co-operation between the regulatory authorities and public or private operators. This also involves consultation with the users. That is why BIPT has established relations with a large number of organisations and participates in international agreements.
In this section a few words of explanation are given about the Institute's activities in that area.
