The Council submits to the minister an annual report on its activities and the developments in the postal services and telecommunications markets. This annual report includes, inter alia, a financial report and the annual accounts of the funds for the universal services regarding postal services and telecommunications. This report is made available to the public.

Moreover, the Institute works out a half-yearly management plan in which it details the planning of its activities, its objectives as well as the means it intends to put in place in order to meet them. This document is more aimed for he players of the economic sectors concerned.

Finally, the Institute sends a report of its activities to the Chamber of Representatives on 15 March and 15 October of every year.

The Institute's draft budget is drawn up by the Council and approved by the Budget and Finance Ministers. The budget is communicated for information to the Chamber of Representatives.
