ETSI was set up in 1988 by CEPT and the EU with the instruction to produce technical standards with respect to telecommunications. The Institute unites 617 members from 56 different countries: administrations, operators, manufacturers, service providers, universities, research bodies and users.
BIPT participation :
- in the General Assembly;
- in the ERM committee (Electromagnetic Compatibility and Radio Spectrum Matters).
